With an extensive experience of three decades in Media and publishing, Pawan Agarwal is known for his unmatched contribution in creating awareness on critical defence and security concerns. His commitment towards National Security was recognised when he launched DSA in 2009, just after the Mumbai blasts to disseminate information regarding the defence and security concerns. His pledge to preserve integrity in journalism and to maintain the highest quality standards in content, publication and presentation has made DSA the most read and distributed magazine in the defence and security sector at a global level.

Associated with the publishing group since 1987 and now working as Group CEO. Strategic Consulting, including business plan and sales strategy development are his current responsibilities. Developed, Prabhat Prakashan as the most prestigious brand in the Hindi publishing. Diversified the business from the books to audio-visual aids and into Tele-Media in 1997 and tied up with various national and international brands for the marketing of educational audio and video programmes. In October 2009, launched a monthly magazine Defence and Security Alert (DSA) focused and dedicated to create awareness on critical issues of defence and security of India and the Globe.

He is also the CEO and founder of Ocean Books Private Limited., Ocean Media Private Limited and Pawitra International Private Limited.
