The Middle East Can Benefit From India’s Innovation in Nuclear Commerce
India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) signed a first-of-its-kind Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Civil Nuclear Cooperation on 9 September, 2024 in the presence of visiting Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled Al Nahyan and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The deal was signed between the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) and the ENEC (Emirates Nuclear Energy Company)-led Barakah Nuclear Power Plant Operations and Maintenance.
